Support for All

The Angelo offers general education programming as well as Special Education and Sheltered English Immersion.

We support our students' holistic needs by offering inclusion models, fostering connections with school adjustment counselors and by providing positive behavioral supports.

TALENTED & GIFTED

The Angelo houses the citywide Talented and Gifted (TAG) Program for students in grades four and five. The TAG Program offers an observably different academic setting and instructional program for those students who can excel beyond the normal expectations of students of the same grades.

TAG students attend Plouffe Academy for grades 6-8.

BEYOND THE BELL

Angelo offers Smart Start Extended Day Program to support working families while providing enriching before- and after-school childcare.

The Angelo hosts Title I events throughout the school year which reinforce critical academic skills in a fun, family-oriented setting. Events include book giveaways, community art projects, and more.

Students may also participate in a variety of intramural and after-school activities offered by the Community Schools Office.
